Community check-in: how is everyone feeling today?

Amidst the chaos of COVID-19 developments, it feels a little strange to be battling my own personal issues. Just a reminder to you all that:

  1. Your feelings are valid, even if they feel small when there are big things happening

  2. You never know what is going on in others’ lives so always be kind.

I sprained my right ankle 2 weeks ago, and I’m looking at another few weeks on the bench. Race goals aside, not having my usual outlet to release stress is slowly taking a toll on my mental health. Recovery is my first priority, and I know that I will get there, but the struggle is real right now.
